Pennock PTO Adopts Eddy the Panther!
At the January general meeting, the members voted to adopt Eddy, the black leopard, as a school mascot. Eddy was born at the sanctuary to a pair of rescued leopards.
Eddy was hand raised by Pat Craig and family, owners of the Sanctuary. You can see “Growing up Leopard”, the story of Eddy, on Animal Planet or visit Eddy at the Sanctuary located at 1946 WCR 53 in Keenesburg. For more information about the Sanctuary, visit www.wildanimalsanctuary.org.
News from The Wild Animal Sanctuary

As many of you already know - The Sanctuary is quickly being surrounded by development and we need to purchase land right now to stop the growth before it creates a situation where the sanctuary would have to move its entire operation!
Right now you can help the animals obtain more habitat… and also help us prevent having to spend millions on moving and rebuilding!
Many of you have helped us with this cause already… and we have raised over half of the $270,000 needed to secure the land – but we only have about 10 days to raise the rest of the money – so we need your help right now!!!
Please watch this new video about our urgent need at the Animal Sanctuary...
Please pass this email on to everyone you know in order to make this happen! Anyone can donate to help save this land by donating at our secure web site
Thank you so much for being there to help the animals – everyone here at the sanctuary thanks you very much!
Sincerely, Pat Craig Executive Director
